  • Nannette Jackowski and Ricardo de Ostos

    Nannette Jackowski is a former project architect at Wilkinson Eyre Architects and has also worked for Zaha Hadid. She was involved in the design, detailing, management and construction of small and large scale projects like the London Aquatic Centre for the Olympic Games 2012 in London, the Maggie’s Centre in Oxford, the Zentralstadion Leipzig – a football stadium for the World Cup 2006 in Germany and Paradise Street Car Park and Footbridge in Liverpool, amongst others.

    Ricardo de Ostos is an architect who has worked for Peter Cook, Future Systems and Foster + Partners. He has designed and built a variety of residential and retail projects in Brazil, Terminal East in Heathrow, new coach station at Stansted Airport and Spaceport America – the first spaceport for space tourists in New Mexico, amongst others. He was also involved in the development of a mixed use master plan with residential/retail/educational zones in La Garenne Paris.

    Together they founded NaJa & deOstos, a London-based studio developed as a platform for experimental architecture. They are the authors of The Hanging Cemetery of Baghdad (2007) and Pamphlet Architecture 29: Ambiguous Spaces (2008). Their projects have been exhibited at the 6th International Architecture Biennale in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2005; the Summer Exhibition 2006 at the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the London Festival of Architecture in 2008.
